i had to put jayden's favorite song on the blog: "Chicago" by Sufjan Stevens. if he is crying and this song starts playing on my itunes shuffle, the crying stops immediately. (maybe it's my dancing to the music that makes him stop crying) well that would explain all of the funny looks he gives me. poor kid has a crazy person for a mommy.

if your computer is on silent turn on your sound

I'm glad to see that Jayden does the "one eye open" thing. Calvin does it all of the time and it was kind of freakin me out.

I just read your last few posts and it sounds like the adjustment to parenthood has been a breeze (or you're not telling us everything!). Little Jay is adorable! I'm not just saying that because I think all babies are cute cause we all know they aren't. I can't wait to see pics of your new house. I love that stuff!
