i think he always has his future mission on his mind and wants to get a head start on all of the languages seeing how the foreign language section was his first stop.after searching for a while, he decided to go with chinese.
he hears they have good food over there, and somehow knows that in 19 years there will be a huge growth in the church in that area and there is a good chance he could be sent there.
