monkey boy

now that i have two kids, going on walks or to the zoo is not as easy as it used to be. before owen was born i laid awake one night stressing about how i would walk to the park with the boys without a double stroller and a toddler that likes to run. i found a solution...and the solution was one that i had made fun of for years. i always laughed at moms who put leashes on their kids, but not anymore. i bought one of those cute monkey backpack leashes for jayden and it works like a charm. now every morning jayden grabs his leash, begs me to put it on him, runs to the front door and whines to be taken on a walk. do i have a kid or a puppy?

those things are very controversial, but as for myself, i've never had a problem with them. however, if jayden starts lifting his leg when he pees or running in circles chasing his bum, i'd maybe lay off the backpack for a while.

that's hilarious! I definitely need one of those. Let us know when you make it to Boise, we need to get together for sure!

Those things are the best thing ever invented. It is the only way I can fly with Fisher :)

I love it. I need 3. Would that look odd walking into Albertsons, with three children on leashes? Actually, I just need to not go to the store with 3 children, it has disaster written all over it. We love you guys.

That's so funny. I always swore that I would never own them too...except I never have owned them. 3 kids later, still no leashes. Maybe I should invest but I'm not sure. Glad your enjoying them.

My grandbaby is on a leash! I'm with Hil - I laughed my butt off at that one! I love that girl! I saw a little boy run into the street with traffic coming at him so . . I'm for the leash but don't ask me to walk him with it!
